Back in August 2018, CoinMarketCap launched a paid API which was designed for developers and cryptocurrency funds. This API tracked crypto derivative markets, and also had futures support and OTC trading options.
Users can use the new app by creating an account, and will allow them a full list of benefits including the ability to track news from popular cryptocurrency media platforms, adding to their full-spectrum abilities in meeting the average cryptocurrency traders’ needs.
Helping cryptocurrency users get the true picture of exchange data
One of the trending topics of 2018 was research which stated that the vast majority of cryptocurrency exchange data was fake, and that some volume was created by the exchanges themselves.
CoinMarketCap has stated that they will be changing the data on listing exchanges to help make sure that all information used was accurate.
The original iOS app for CoinMarketCap launched in May 2018 to coincide with the company’s 5th birthday celebrations, and now in preparation for their 6th birthday, the latest improved version of the app will go live.
